Mosig (Moses) Der Movsesian founded the Art Studio Pasadena in
2001.
Studied at fine art schools in Southern California including, Woodbury
University, Platt college of design, Pasadena City College, and privately with
Hovhanness Zomian for a number of years.

- Has over 17 years of experience teaching art to Pre-K through college
including adults and seniors - Has volunteered his talents painting murals for Don Bonito Fundamental
School in Pasadena, California. - Volunteers at the wellness center in Pasadena California, working with
cancer survivors. - Has done murals throughout Pasadena including a 8 feet by 60 feet mural for
Douglas Auto body, depicting life in Pasadena in the early 20’s and 30’s with
various Pasadena landmarks. - Teaches after school fine art enrichment programs at various schools in
Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. - Art director at St. Gregory Hovsepian School.
- Teaches At the C.S. Club.
- Has had many opportunities to paint athletes and celebrities and has met
them to have the paintings autographed. - Conducts free art classes at the Hastings Ranch Library.
- Has donated paintings for the Wounded Warriors Charity at the Pomona Rotary Club.
